Our “Peppa” bar, short for pepper is a little exotic we admit. But it's amazing. A blend of 55% dark Belgian chocolate and Italian cracked pepper, it's nothing short of perfection when paired with a bold red wine. Why? you ask….. well what makes it an interesting combination is the pepper flavour hits the same part of your tongue then the tannins of the wine. If you taste your wine, take a small bite and let it melt, crunch it a bit, then try the wine. You'll find your wine now has an altogether new flavour profile. It will smooth out the flavour depending on the complexity of the wine. If you like something with a little heat and crunch you'll love this, it's not what you might expect and well worth a try, especially with red wine.
