Chocolate pairing: Session III – Ummmm
Chocolate pairing Session III – Ummm Pocket chocolate bar
Peanut butter, toffee and dark chocolate. What’s not to love about that combination? ummmm nothing unless of course you might be allergic then I can see why this isn’t for you. But for the rest of us fortunate enough to be able to indulge this ones name says it all…ummmm. Named after the sound often made after the first bite.
So what to pair with this? It’s a good question because it can go with quite a bit. My personal favorite is an ice cold glass of milk as it reminds me of being a kid. Now that I’m all grown up (a little) a bold red wine also pairs nicely. You might think peanut butter and wine? Odd combination, yes, but the dark chocolate and toffee make it work. The sweetness of the all the components contrast the tannins of wine making for a unique pairing. Try it with your favorite red or a ice cold glass of milk and see for yourself.
Coffee also is a great side dish to this pocket chocolate bar, speaking of coffee you should try the Espresso pocket chocolate bar, next up in our next chocolate pairing session.
